Can you determine MacBookPro keyboard layout by serial number?

I have Mac Book Pro and I need it to be with US keyboard layout?

I did not unpacked it. Is there a way to be sure it is US layout?

On label it is:

"MBP 13.3/2.8/16GB/1TBFlash/INT/INT"

And what is the difference between International and US layout?

totalus,

to my knowledge, the keyboard layout cannot be determined by the serial number; it might be determinable from the full model number, though. The two “INT”s on the label suggest that it has an International English keyboard.

The main difference between the International English keyboard and the US English keyboard is that the International English keyboard has a “vertical” Return key, while the US English keyboard has a “horizontal” Return key. The International English keyboard has an extra key between the left Shift key and the Z key, and the left Shift key shrinks to the size of a Command key to accommodate the extra key.
