My iPod 4g won't turn on.

My iPod 4g died 2 days ago. I plugged it up to my computer later that night. Before I left it to charge the apple logo came up like it was turning on. It was taking a long time so I just left it plugged up so it could charge. When I checked it the next morning, the apple logo was still up. I checked online and it said to hold the home and sleep/power button for a quick reset, so I did that and the apple logo went away but it still said my iPod was dead. Now every time I plug it up it gets stuck on the apple logo. It is also not registering on my computer.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
