Q: Trying to downgrade to iOS 6.1.3 from OS 7 on iPhone 4s. Can this be done?

My daughter tried to "help me out" and upgraded my phone from OS6 to OS7. I don't care for it, and want to go back to OS6,

but I can't find a way that actually works. I keep getting the above error "not eligible". Can anybody give me an idea, or should I just

throw in the towel and live with it?
