can someone check the health of my battery?

I'm worried I'm not getting a warning when the system shuts down... and it's not entering sleep either... it's just shutting down.

Sam,

your battery’s Health Information shows that your battery is fine.

If you click on your Apple menu, does it show your shutdown option as “Shut Down…” or as “Shut Down” (i.e., is it shown with or without the ellipsis)? The usual way to avoid the “Are you sure you want to shutdown your computer now?” menu is by holding down an Option key when selecting your shutdown option from the Apple menu, and it seems to be acting as though an Option key were being held down.
