I am using safari 7.0.1 on my MacBook Air and it has been causing me a lot of trouble by opening random websites when i click on a hyperlink, is there any way i can uninstall and reinstall the app?

Only by booting into recovery mode and reinstalling the OS, unless you kept a copy of 10.9.1 to preclude wasting resources DLing the app.
