Composing e-mail on iCloud.com periodically freezes for no reason

Hi all,

I am experiencing problems when trying to compose an e-mail message from within a webbrowser (Google Chrome, via https://www.icloud.com/#mail).

When I start typing there is no problem at all but after a couple of minutes it starts behaving weird: It periodically (couple of minutes interval) will freeze: Nothing is output to the screen anymore for a couple of seconds (app. 10) and than all of a sudden it starts becoming responsive again, flushing everything I have typed whilst it was frozen.

This is a very annoying (almost showstopping) problem and I was wondering whether I am the only one experiencing this.

BTW: It happens on different hardware and also within different browsers (tried IE, Firefox and Chrome on various Wintel machines running Windows 7)

I was wondering whether Apple is aware of this problem or not.
