Install failed! Recovery system can't be created

I am trying to make a fresh install. I have installed a new SSD and trying to migrate to it. But when ever i boot the MAC OSX from my pen drive. The installation starts and stops in middle, displaying the following message. I have made a proper bootable pen drive. But this thing is getting on my nerves. Please help me out.

Thanks in advance

Try again, but before you do.... using Disk Utility from your installer drive, select the SSD drive like you show above in your screen shot, click the Partition tab, remove the current partition, create a new single partition with the format of Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Then retry your install.

Boot from your Recovery HD:

Boot to the Recovery HD:

Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the arrow button below the icon.

When you see the Utility Menu appear click on the Install OS X option and click on the Continue button. Change the target disk to your SSD by clicking on the Other Disks link. Then click on Install.

If you SSD volume is not Journaled, then you will need to use Disk Utility from the main menu first to change it to Journaled.

Linc -- Actually, it looks like the SSD is drive #1 (internal) and the other is drive #2 (in place of optical).

to the OP: thsi is very important - confirm. SSDs have very stringent timing and pulse-shape requirements. Placing one in the optical bay in general will not work, or not well.

For example, OWC sells a kit, but to put an SSD in the internal and a mechanical in the eternal bay.

I considered it and passed (really happy i put a big, fast SSD internally).
