Logic X and roland TD-12?

I have been contemplating buying a drum plugin for Logic X. Bfd or something much less expensive hopefully. i have a set of Roland TD-12 V drums which I would like to use as a MIDI device or maybe even the included sounds. I also have some othe older drum Processors and kits, DMpro and Trapkat for example. The guy that I write with is crazy about that BFD interface but I have tons of sound file samplesbesides the LogiX drums. I would like to know what anyone would suggest. I pretty sure I'll be able to map the V drums Do I need an EZdrummer or mabe ther is a cheaper alternitave.... Tell me what you thnk.
