Q: Title "Far Far away" scrolls too fast regardless of its duration settings

In iMovie 10, when I place the far far away title on top of an image that is displayed let's say 18 seconds. Than my text scrolls in the first 6 seconds, even though I configured the far far away title lenght to 18s. How do I solve the speed of scrolling?

Thanks in advance

Best Regards,

    Hi,

I'm on 10.11.2 El Capitan, iMovie 10.1.  When I drag the far far away title into the project, it showed up like a main content frame, like any other video or pic.  It was a stand alone item with no "blue bar" above it.  It also didn't give me the 2nd option to choose from various background pix, like the black starry one.  I got FFA duration changing to work by creating a placeholder frame to attach FFA to.  I dragged any other text title in (like "expand"), deleted the placeholder "enter text", which leaves you with a blank black title frame.  And then dragged FFA onto/above it, you'll see the vertical line try to line up to the frame you're hovering over.  If you use this title option, you can change the background color as well - just no fancier options.  Then, FFA appears above the frame (thin horizontal row above) like people reference, and you can adjust the duration separately in the menu for FFA.  You can drag FFA to a pic as well (which is the "same difference" as if it gave the option to choose from one of the default pix that it 'should' be offering me).

In short, put a frame of some kind in there and drag FFA over it, and you can set the duration for the frame and FFA separately.
