Get a faster Internet connection.

Power cycle the router, Internet modem, and ATV.

If the ATV is connected via Wi-Fi, connect via ethernet.

Any of the above could be possible resolutions...

Check the actual speed of the connection on a computer by visiting www.speedtest.net to ensure that the speed being achieved is actually what is being paid for.

Some other possible causes.

Network interference, which can be verified by going to istumbler or netstumbler

DNS, make sure its to your ISPs (settings - general - network - configure DNS - automatic)
