Is it possible to connect a Samsung WB250F camera to a mac based network using wifi?

There are directions in your user manual; however, it requires the installation of some software and, according to the camera's specs, they only mention older Macs (PowerPCs), so I'd check with the camera mfr to see if this can be used on Mac OS X Mavericks.
Thanks for the reply. I have already installed the Samsung software,and connected to the local network but cannot see the camera on my Finder on Macbook on same network. Samsung say I should ask Apple if I have problems seeing my camera on the network. A case of Samsung blame Apple and Apple blame Samsung, and neither work together because they are competitors with different commercial agendas perhaps? I just wondered if anyone had successfully transferred photos direct from Samsung wifi enabled camera (Android based) to Macbook (OSX)?
I don't know if Android > Mac OS would work as I don't own anything Android; I've always preferred simply putting my SDHC card in a USB reader - it is so easy and quick. Sony and Apple do not play that well together unfortunately. Hopefully someone will chime in.
