iam trying to sync my music from itunes on my computer to my ipad but when it gets to step 5 determining apps to sync, it cancels the sync every time. please help. i don't know what to do.

No, it has to do with my music. I purchased some music from amazon mp3 and I imported it to my itunes on my mac computer. When I tried to sync those songs to my iPad via the USB, the sync was cancelled before it even got to that step and I want to why. Thank you.
ITunes is finding fault with the music format, perhaps an error in importing.
See if this matches you method. Check info to verify extensions are correct.

I was having the same problem. I solved it by disablig wifi sync both in the ipad and and in the iMac, and syncing only through USB conection...
