Q: Ipad 2 has no cellular data option

I'm confused, I have an ipad 2 with a mobile data account and have no issues however, last night my husband purchased a new ipad 2 to use while traveling for work.

I am trying to purchase a mobile data account like the one I use however I can't fins an on/off option for cellular data. this is very frustrating.

Please let me know how I can get wifi for this device, a mobile data plan is imperative without it this device is basically useless to him.

Are you sure it's a WiFi+ Cellular model and not just a WiFi only model? What is the model number of the device? Settings>General>About>Model #.

If you did purchase the WiFi only model, you can either see about returning it or contact your cellular carrier about buying a personal hotspot device (sometimes called a MiFi).

The iPad 2 with Cellular has a black plastic strip across the casing on the back along the top. The WiFi-only model just has the silver back.

If this iPad does not have the black plastic strip, it's the WiFi-only model.
