Want to upgrade RAM on MacBook Pro (mid 2009)

Hey, everyone

I have a 13"MacBookPro (mid 2009) and I'd like to upgrade the RAM memory (currently 4GB to 8GB), but I'm not sure if the option I've found is compatible with my computer.

My MBP's configuration is:

2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 and in the memory section it says:

Your Mac contains 2 memory slots, each of which accepts

a 1067 MHz DDR3 memory module.

The upgrade I found is this one:

http://www.corsair.com/us/memory-by-product-family/mac-memory-upgrades/corsair-m ac-memory-8gb-dual-channel-ddr3-sodimm-memory-kit-cmsa8gx3m2a106c7.html

I hope someone could let me know if this option is the right one for my computer or if yo can recommend some other option.

Thanks!!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2009), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

The Mid 2009 MacBook Pro supports 8 GB of RAM. In this case, the RAM you mention will work, more when Corsair is one of the recommended brands for Mac's RAM. You can also buy RAM at OWC or Crucial.

I tried to upgrade my Mid 2009 Macbook Pro to 8 GB and can only get 6 GB to work. It came with 2x2GB. I tried to install 2x4GB and it won't work. I tried both separate sticks and with the original 2GB and they both worked. But when I put them in together, I get three beeps when the computer tries to boot up. Any suggestions?
