Will the 5s support SAP bluetooth?

Will it in the future? Are there any plans? Or - do I need to buy an other phone?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

Any news or updates on this? The provided link for the BT profile list only goes up to iphone 4, we have an iphone 5c & 5s & I'm looking at cars that don't support HFP but only SAP. I can't find any info on BT profiles on 5c/s with iOS 9.

Not sure what apple is thinking here, I undoubtedly like my iphone, but I rather buy the car I like & adjust the phone accordingly than the other way around.

Apple has made no statements regarding any intent to support SAP on any iPhones.

That said, I'm going to split hairs and come very close to speculation...

SAP, also known as SIM and rSAP is not a part of the bluetooth specification as published by the Bluetooth SIG, which oversees development of bluetooth standards, and licensing of Bluetooth technologies and trademarks. It is highly unlikely that Apple would support a non-standard, poorly defined protocol like SAP in any of their products. (at least one that is not developed, owned, and controlled by them)
