Q: How do I get a refund for an in app purchase more than 90 days ago?

In June of 2012 I bought a couple of planes from skies of glory. They downloaded. Earlier last year I restarted my device and try to restored my purchases and it said purchases restored. The purchases were restored but I never received the planes in the game. Any help on how to get my money back?

Not all in-app purchases can be redownloaded. Do you know what sort of IAP they were ?

    From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4009 :

If you lose your In-App Purchases because apps were accidentally deleted or you had to restore your device without a backup, you may be able to download some of your purchases again for free. See which types of In-App Purchases you need to purchase again or can redownload for free in the table:

    TypeDownload for freePurchase Again
    Consumable X
    Non-consumableX
    Non-renewing subscriptions X
    Auto-renewable subscriptionsX

To download an In-App Purchase again, you must download it from within the installed app using the same iTunes Store account name you used for the original In-App Purchase.

More or likely non-consumable. But I did try to buy another a couple of months back and it didn't download.

You've tried contacting the developers of the app to see what type of IAP they are, and whether you should be able to redownload them for free ?

The developers are SGN. They haven't released an update for a long time. I made an in app purchase after I restarted my device and it didn't give me the plane. I have a community of people who have had the same problem.

If you've made new in-app purchases and haven't received them then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you (but if you've left it a few months before contacting them then they might not do so) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

For the in-app purchases made over 18 months ago, then they are very unlikely to be refunded
