Too late. You needed to do that before it was stolen. Neither we nor Apple can help you.

What To Do If Your iDevice or Computer Is Lost Or Stolen

iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad

If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if Wi-Fi is enabled on the device. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. You cannot recover your loss unless you insure your device for such loss. It is not covered by your warranty.

If your iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or iPad is lost or stolen what do you do? There are things you should have done in advance - before you lost it or it was stolen - and some things to do after the fact. Here are some suggestions:

:( when I got it I did connect it to my computer, I bought the insite device, I went through the tutorial, and reported it stolen when it was it does have my iCloud account on it with my password that has been changed multiple times. I bought the insite device with the impression that I could add lost devices to it. Last I contacted apple they knew it was stolen or lost shortly after and I reported it as such. I am completely down about this bc I paid 250$ for it and when the same happened with my iPad mini it was able to be recovered. So I guess my new question is does any of this change my circumstances as you just noted?

Kappy,

I went back through all my emails and I did set up the iPod in both iCloud an find my iPhone I bbc'ed all emails back to myself off the iPod however it does not show up in ind my iPhone. My iPad mini and two iPhones do but not my iPod nor has it since I lost it. I did report it lost or stolen to Apple. I just don't understand why it wouldn't show I may have misplaced it and if so the battery would long be drained so how could I go about finding it?
