Feb 15, 2014 4:53 PM in response to bigmommaeppsby remolanot,If you have iOS 4.3 or earlier, you can update it on iTunes. Connect your iPod Touch and back up your data and click update.
If you have iOS 5 or later, you can update over the air. Go to Settings, General and tap Software Update. You must connect to the WiFi before downloading your new iOS.
To check your version, Go to Seetings, General and About. You will find the Version of your iPod Touch.
