Are there any good/free emulators to run Windows apps on the MBP?

I have a program to help me learn Arabic and it's PC only. It is a fairly simple video/CD program. Is there any way I could run it within the Mac environment cheaply or will I have to do the BootCamp XP route?

Thanks!

MBP 2.0, Mac OS X (10.4.5)

A company called CodeWeavers is developing a program using the Wine project to run Windows programs on an Intel Mac.

Compared to BootCamp and Parallels:
Pros:
it is not an emulator, it lets you run Windows progams in OSX do not have to buy Windows (or install it...even better)

Cons:
it is not free ($60)
has not been released yet
limited amount of supported apps

I don't know if this helps you ** it is an option.

there is a really good windows emulation program,
wine, firstly developped for linux. now it has a mac
os x port, called darwine. take a look at that, it
does not require windows installation.

here is the web page:

MacBook Pro 2.16,ibook
g4 1.33, Compaq evo n800v p4-M 2.0 Mac OS X
(10.4.7) and Linux on my compaq

Good lord is that Darwine stuff complicated.

Parallels seems to be doing the job OK.
