Question about iPhoto and iCloud

First question: I have automatic import from icloud into iphoto. Will those photos delete after 30 days?

Second question: If a picture is imported from icloud and I import all the pictures from my iphone, will the photo be in my iphoto library twice? And is there an easy way to check for duplicates?
