Feb 16, 2014 3:23 AM in response to George.iDby Greencard2,Thanks george, if I set up the replacement phone and start as new, will I be able to use that to download the new iOS and then reset it so I can restore from icloud? Or will the reset also reset the iOS?

Feb 16, 2014 8:11 AM in response to George.iDby Greencard2,Thanks guys, in the end I set up the replacement phone as a new device, downloaded the most recent iOS and then reset the whole phone, in order to initialise the start up procedure again. As the reset doesn't wipe the new iOS I was then able to set up the replacement by restoring from iCloud.
Thanks for the help, got there in the end!
