okay, here it is. worked on music files so far in stereo and want to create final surround files. I understand a interface is required from computer to sound system?..I'm not sure if I've got that right.... or do I export coded surround audio file to iTunes and play through 5.1 surround system that has DOLBY DIGITAL PRO LOGIC decoder and simulated surround options. although that option merely dividesthe STEREO sound to all 5 channels, not the most ideal result . So I need info from the ground up on how all of this is done and what hardware & software is required. Can someone point me in the right direction? The bottom line is I would truly like to create music that would be an audio experience with layered sound that would be real nice to hear! Much appreciated. Thanks to all who reply.
