Q: I would like to report my iPad lost

Contact the police and your insurance company.  If it is a cellular model with an active data plan, also contact your carrier.  Have the serial number and IMEI number when you call.  The are on the box it came in.  If you ever synced it with iTunes, you can also find these by doing the following:

1. Launch iTunes on your computer.
2. Hold down your Control key, then on the menu bar in iTunes click iTunes>About iTunes (Mac) or Help>About iTunes (PC).
3. Any previously synced devices will scroll in a pop-up window; press the space bar to stop scrolling so you can write down the serial number.
