i just bought MacBook Pro MD313 from my friend.
when i tried to boot from my USB it asks for password i think may be bios.
took my Hard Disk out & put as a external in another laptop did the installation.
after that i just passed it to boot straight back it in my laptop.
but always shows question mark (?) sign.
any solutionj plz!!!

which version of OS X did you install from the other laptop onto your 13-inch Late 2011 MacBook Pro’s hard disk?
i installed Mountain Lion on the Hard Drive from another laptop.

if you hold down a Command key and the R key as you start up your MacBook Pro, does the Recovery menu appear? (If it does, a Mac OS X Utilities menu will be shown.)
I tried Command & R key but still same thing it goes to Question Mark.
If the computer has a firmware password set, contact Apple.

try taking out your internal drive again and reconnecting it as an external drive to the other laptop. From the other laptop, run the following commands in Terminal, one per line, ending each line with the Return key:
diskutil list
diskutil cs list
mount
Please include in your reply the full output from these commands.

presuming that /dev/disk2 in those pictures is your internal disk that’s currently external, it looks fine from the partitioning standpoint. Are you able to boot from your externalized internal disk from the other laptop (by holding down the Option key as it starts up, and then selecting the correct “Macintosh HD”)?
The computer has a firmware password installed. Unless the former owner can give it to you the Mac must be taken to an Apple store genius bark to be removed. The user cannot bypass a firmware password.
