Deleted Pages '09 from Macbook after downloading the new version. I find the new version unusable for all the reasons many people have pointed out.
It's not in Trash. Is there any way to redownload it…from Apple?
It does still exist on my iMac. Is there a way to port it over to my Macbook?

I think that you should be able to airdrop, or otherwise copy it, it from your iMac to your MBP. It worked for me in a similar situation.
How did you purchase it in the first place?
Can you reinstll form the original DVD?
You can copy over iWork '09 as long as you also copy over all the plists:

Thanks. Problems is, I get a "don't have permission to copy some files" message when I try copying.
I'm the administrator for both iMac and portable; the only person using either, and I do regularliy transfer files back and forth.
I've looked under Users and Security/Privacy in Sys Prefs, and don't see anything obvious that should be set.
Would you know what's going on?
