If it will not restore from iTunes, take it to Apple and ask them to check it out.

If you have not already done so, while plugged into the charger, perform a "hard reset' (power button and home button at the same time for 15 seconds or until apple appears on the screen. If that does not resolve it and nothing still comes up on the screen, try another cord/power outlet, if the issue persists, consult with an ARS or call AppleCare for mail in repair options.
