Feb 18, 2014 6:27 AM in response to plagartoby Russ H,Do you mean subtitles as in open captioning? Or are you referring to sub menus? If the latter, iDVD could do this and although discontinued, it is still available in unopened iLife editions from on-line retailers.
However, if you are asking about subtitles like a foreign language track, then you would need a more full-featured (and expensive) program like (also discontinued) DVD Studio Pro or Adobe Encore. The latter is available as a download for those who subscribe to Premiere Pro CC ($20/mo). I've never used Encore for sub titles or closed caption so I can't say how well it works first hand. But you could get plenty of help on the Adobe forums.Good luck.

Feb 18, 2014 11:44 AM in response to Russ Hby plagarto,Hi
what I need is a program where I can add different srt.files to the AVI, MP4 or other video format files. For example, I like to create dvds with my favourite tvshows and in each episode I usually add one srt. file in English and another in Portuguese, my language. With windows, I do this easily but with the mac I haven't been able to do this.
This is basically what the dvdcreator in the apple store does, but the problem is indeed with the fact that this program and many others I found, only let me add one srt. file. As soon as I add another, the first disappears and only the later remains. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Paula
