my iphone 3G is disabled

i am at loss my iphone 3G is disabled nothing seems to be working , can someone out there suggest the best way to resolve this please

If it's showing the 'iPhone is disabled - connect to iTunes' screen then that normally means that the wrong passcode has been entered too many times. You will need to connect it to your computer's iTunes and you should then be able to reset the phone so that you can restore/resync your content to it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212


Or is it a different screen that it's showing ?
