Q: iCloud doesn't sync my apps' data

I have a serious problem with iCloud, which I cannot solve. I've got many apps using iCloud (Pages, Ulysses, iA Writer etc.) but all documents won't save on iCloud. Obviously, I have it turned on on all devices with the same AppleID. The funny thing is, when I tried to delete iA Writer from my mac, I still have to pay for it on the AppStore despite previous purchase. Now I'm even scared to delete any other app.

 

It's very problematic for me as I often write something on my iPhone and develop on mac etc.

 

Any ideas what could solve this problem?

    Be brave and click BUY anyway. You will not be charged and a popup will tell you that you've purchased before and "the update is available for free".

     

    For iCloud doc issue, fully sign out on all your devices (after a data backup, if necessary) and login again. It takes a few minutes (or hours, depending on location and network connection. In China it takes a whole night.) to sync everything for the first time. Keep in mind that contacts, calendars, reminders, Safari bookmarks & reading list will be synced prior to your other data, so be patient -- it may take some time before your own apps function as expected.

    Before deleting all your apps, you might also try resetting the iCloud documents & data service as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5824.
