So I just got my MacBook 3 days ago. I recorded some gameplay from elgato and uploaded to iMovie every time in try to upload to YouTube it either says "Safari had to reopen do to problems" so I can't upload. Or it uploads for hours then says didn't covert

Please help. I'm running latest iMovie. I even downloaded handbrake to reduce file size. Is mp4 not supported?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
