Does the iOS device connect to other networks?

Does the iOS device see the network? I think yes

    Any error messages?

    Do other devices now connect?

Did the iOS device connect before?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Power off and then back on your router. I think you did this

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

    - Restore from backup. See:

    iOS: How to back up

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device. Not clear what restore you did

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    - Try connecting to another network. Like McDonald's or Starbucks

    - Restore to factory setting/new iPod if you have not done so already.

If you successfully restored (went through all steps without error) to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store..

Check your DNS I had installed a program and somehow the DNS Settings got changed. Spent 1.45 hrs on with Apple and Reset EVERYTHING... Nothing worked... Just now realized my DNS had been changed. I changed it to Googles normal 8.8.8.8 with secondary as 8.8.4.4   should look like this in your iPod    8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4   It is Up and Running now again!!!
