I doubt if the OP will be able to search for Library6.iPhoto while running 10.5.8. Spotlight only started searching packages like the iPhoto Library with Mavericks (if I rememeber correctly). With 10.5.8 he'll need Find Any File to search for the Library6.iPhoto file.

A good point, OldToad. I thought, I could find possible fragments of a destroyed iPhoto library this way. Do you speak Spanish, or should we ask for help from Spanish speakers?

Feb 21, 2014 2:48 PM in response to LarryHNby léonie,Thanks, Larry! Six month basic spanish lessons - it is just sufficient to order a meal. And to find Apple's spanish web sites and identify the passages that might help. But it is not enough to interview Totis89 and to ask leading questions. We still don't know if the photo library is still there and has original images inside.
And it would be no use to set my display to Spanish for screenshots, all my Macs are on 10.9.1.

Feb 28, 2014 2:48 AM in response to Totis89by léonie,¡Hola!
So you have found your iPhoto Library. Very good!
But The Faces database seems to be corrupted.
Try the following:
Hold down the right mouse button or hold down the control key and click the iPhoto library 2 in your Pictures folder
/Users/tatianaduplanberezowsky/Pictures/iPhoto Library_2
Select "Show Package Contents"
Look for folders called "Masters" or "Originals", "Previews", or "Edited" and browse the folders for images
Trying to translate:
