Can the older 27" LED Apple Cinema Display work with new Thunderbolt Mac Pro?

My current setup uses a early model (2008) Mac Pro with the 27 inch LED Apple Cinema Display. I want to upgrade to the new Mac Pro but I'm not sure there is an adapter to get the LED display (w/ mini display port) to work with the Thunderbolt only connections. Will I be able to use this older display with the new Mac Pro? We just bought these new monitors within the last 6-7 months and I hate to have purchase the thunderbolt version.
