iTunes stops playing movie after 3 seconds in

My iTunes unexpectedly stopped working this morning. I have several movies I've purchased for my kids and many of them now just sit there. They won't play. Clicking the play button doesn't do any thing. It seems random, because some of my videos work fine, but others just sit there doing nothing. I've looked through forums here and tried deleting my SC Info folder.... nothing. I've tried logging out of my iTunes store and logging back in. I've tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing my computer on all my accounts. I've even deleted the movies from iTunes library and redownloaded them from the purchases tab. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?
