Dear guys,

i went to US and i went to US and i bought I iphone 5 on the streets.

So far i know the phone is not stolen but i didnt check the icloud account, now i dont know how to contact the guy and i cant delete that account. any tips to delete it? is there any legal time or any posibility that apple could remove the icloud accounts after waiting a time upon requested? like i said, so far i know the phone is not stolen but the guy can be dead and i dont know anything about this icloud account owner.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4

You can't. The Phone is locked by the previous user's Apple-id. Without acces to that account the iPhone cannot be brought to life. Not even by Apple. This is to prevent stolen iPhones from being usable. Sorry, if you can't find the person that sold you the iPhone you just lost your money.

It is really good that you know that phone was not stolen. And yes the guy can be dead or alive, but he has chosen that his property (phone) remains locked and Apple will respect that no matter how much time passes.
