Airport Extreme Shared Hard Drive

I've had my Airport Extreme for some time and I attached a hard drive onto the back and it's been working fine but now when I try and access it it just says

"The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “CHARLES” can’t be found."

I've looked in Airport Utility and it says it's there but I can't work out how to get it back?

If you have not already done this......

Power off the entire network in any order that you want

Wait a minute

Start the modem first, and let it run a full minute

Start the next device connected to the modem the same way

Keep starting devices one at a time about a minute apart until the entire network is online

Check to see if you can access the hard drive again
