Why does she want it?
It does nothing to help you find the ipod on which it is installed. It is only for finding other idevices from the ipod.

This is not what the app does at all.
The find my ipod feature is built into the ios. You need no app at all to be abel to locate it on icloud. Just turn on the feature on the ipod.
