Hard drive manufacturer for Apple?

Who is/are the hard drive manufacturer(s) for Apple products such as iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Pro, and iPads? I know some of these hard drives utillize flash memory but some of them use traditional spinning disc technology. At one point I seem to recall Seagate was Apple's go to hard drive manufacturer. Is this still true? Does Apple use just one company or several?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Do you or anyone know why Apple uses multiple manufacturers for hard drives? You would think they would limit hard drive manufacturers to one or two for quality and pricing control. Any thoughts about Apple's rationale?

No one here will have any knowledge, and speculation isn't allowed. In any case, there are only two or three companies that make hard drives now, so Apple's rather automatically limited.
