Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download and save a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website (don't run the install on line):
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Now, using the fresh installer file you downloaded, sapply the procedure from the following user tip (even though you're getting a different error message):

Feb 17, 2014 5:44 PM in response to b noirby kkkktcat,Thank you for such a quick response. However, that didn't help. There was no such file in the downloads bar. I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled. Still nothing. Is there another location for the file?

Feb 17, 2014 5:50 PM in response to kkkktcatby b noir,Can you check something for me please? I'd like to try launching iTunes by doing a run as an administrator.
In Computer, open Local Disk C:\ or whichever drive you've got your program files installed on.
If you have a 32-bit Windows, open the Program Files folder.
If you have a 64-bit Windows, open the Program Files (x86) folder.
Open the iTunes folder.
Right-click on the iTunes.exe file and select "Run as administrator".
Does iTunes launch without the error message now?

Feb 17, 2014 6:35 PM in response to b noirby kkkktcat,Ok, I followed the tips as requested. I deleted everything (nothing was in the c drive). I rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted and received the error code: Apple application support (error 2). Of all items deleted the only one that installed was iTunes. No bonjour, etc.
so do I install everything else? And where do I find them? How do I fox the apple application error?

Okay ... let's try installing the other components standalone.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder:
Doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Doubleclick the AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi to do a standalone ASU install.
Doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
Doubleclick the Bonjour.msi (or Bonjour64.msi) to do a standalone Bonjour install.
Do those all go through okay? If so, can you get iTunes to launch without the error messages?
