Q: Is there a simple way to add pdf's to iPhone via iTunes and is it possible to connect via bluetooth?

How come Apple is making such lame products, is unbelievable!!

I can't even add documents (pdf's) from my macbook to my iPhone directly? like I used to with my oldest iPod?

And neither can I connect to my computer via bluetooth?

What a waste of time!!!. Why they have to turn all products so complicated and dum???

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4, Adding files to iPhone. Bluetooth.

Why can't you add them via your computer's iTunes ? I can add PDFs to the iBooks app on my iPad and iPhone, and to other PDF apps via iTunes. How are you trying to do it and what happens ?

For the iBooks app you can add PDFs to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library (if using a Mac with OS X Mavericks then add them to the iBooks app on it), and then use the phone device's Books tab to select and sync them to the iBooks app on it.

If you want to use a different app instead of iBooks then how you copy PDFs to it will depend upon what the app supports e.g. file sharing, using your wifi network, email, Dropbox.

Bluetooth on iOS devices is mainly for use with headphones and keyboards, not for copying content. Support Bluetooth profiles : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
