There is no charging icon in iTunes.

Whenever i charge my ipod shuffle (4th gen) and open itunes, there is no charging icon in iTunes. Moreover, the indicator lights don't change its always on blinking orange light. That's why, i can't tell if its fully charged or not. Is there a problem with my device? I've reset and restored it many times but the problem still persists. I had also uninstall and reinstall itunes, but still to no avail.

Hi Abee23,

Welcome to the Support Communities!

The article below explains what the status lights mean on your iPod shuffle:

iPod shuffle: Checking the battery charge

Blinking orange indicates that the unit is syncing with iTunes or that disk use was enabled in iTunes. In this state, iPod shuffle may be charging or fully charged. Check the charge status icon next to the iPod shuffle in iTunes or eject iPod shuffle from iTunes but leave it connected to USB and determine if the status light changes to solid green or solid orange.

Cheers,
