Q: Why is a Movie, purchased and downloaded on a PC via iTunes, not shown in the list of my purchases on an Apple TV or iPad

I purchased a movie and downloaded it to a local disc. After this, i assumed to see the purchase on my Apple TV in the same way, like songs are shown. However, this is not the case. In consequence, it seems, that the only way to watch the movie on my Apple TV, is by turning on the PC and stream it over iTunes from the PC. Does anybpdy know another way?

    To report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase, follow these steps:

    1. Find the email receipt for your purchase.
    2. Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
    3. When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
    4. Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
    5. From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
    6. Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
    7. Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

     

    You can also verify you are signed in with the same account in the Apple TV settings.

    Hi Pedro,

     

    thank you for your advice.

     

    I restarted my Apple TV and double-checked to be sure, that i use the correct Apple-ID.

    Unfortunately, the used Apple-ID is correct and restarting the device also did not fix the problem.

    I created a service request to the Apple customer support as you described in your reply.
