Yes it is Airplay ready I believe, it's a RX-A830.
Ok since it is AirPlay ready (Nice receiver btw!) it just needs to be connected to your local network by either a wireless or wired connection.
If that wireless network is provided by an AirPort Express, you will NOT need to connect an audio cable between the Express and the Yamaha as the Yamaha is performing the role of an AirPlay "speaker."
Once properly connected to the Express' wireless network using the Yamaha's interface, the Yamaha should show up in iTunes (on a Mac or PC) or the Music app on an iOS device. Note: I am assuming the Yamaha App works similar to the iOS Music App.
