Somes schools have a mobile app so it is more convenient to add that way but it will not let you add the email account seperately. Check the app store to see if there is a app for your school.

Just wanted to put this out there. I attend class at ODU but I was not able to add my school email account to my phone. It is a gmail account eventhough it is a @odu.edu. After searching I found that ODU has a mobile app where you can access all your ODU in full including email, and it is free. If it won't let you add your school email, try looking for a mobil app for your school.
