Feb 18, 2014 5:13 PM in response to applegirl888888by modular747,Jailbreaking is hacking the phone so that unapproved applications and modifications can be installed, making the phone unstable and susceptible to malware and viruses.
If your phone is not, and has never been jailbroken, it can't have a virus. You need to troubleshoot the phone as described in the User Guide:
Restart
Reset phone
Reset settings
Restore iOS with and without using a backup.

Feb 18, 2014 5:35 PM in response to modular747by applegirl888888,I have not done anything to my phone tonight I was reading Contractor for my shifts and noticed all shifts were one day behind back to November than I actually programmed. I also was playing a video and tried to mute it and this did not work. I may have other problems I have not realised yet. The only thing that happened today was I got a automated voice mail from a company promoting pensions I immediately deleted this.
I have restarted the phone which did not help. I don't want to lose saved internet settings if possible, so what is the best option to try first so this doesn't happen?

Feb 18, 2014 9:18 PM in response to applegirl888888by modular747,The automated voice call was a typical spam call, which was coincidental and has nothing to do with the other issues and isn't malware or a virus.
Try these steps as needed:
1. Reset the phone (no data loss): press both the home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears
2. Restore the iOS with iTunes, also restoring a backup
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
If the probem still isn't fixed, you'll have to accept losing data including network settings:
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
4. Restore the iOS with iTunes as new, without restoring a backup
