Not possible.
There is no version of iTunes for Linux and never has been. If you want help trying to get it working via emulation, you will need to ask for help on a Linux or WINE related web site, though you may find suggestions in the iTunes for Windows forum.
Regards.
thanks so much for the advice ..
yes im aware now that its not possible .. i did tried wine though but its giving me an error message.. wonder why
What I cannot understand is, why does Apple refuse to create a linux version of iTunes? With the growing number of users of Ubuntu and the like, cutting yourself out of the market share seems like a poor business decision. I mean, what better way to get money out of the open-source lot? OsX does happen to be a front-end for what is a Unix-like system; it couldn't be that hard to get it to work... Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
Market share for operating systems as of Feb 2014 as compiled by Net Applications:
Windows market share = ca. 87%
Mac OS X market share = ca. 8%
Linux desktop market share = ca. 1.5%
With multiple distros of Linux with several GUIs splitting that small market share further and complicating development, that small market share would seem to make it an unattractive business proposition for Apple. But you can express your interest to Apple here:

Valve is interesting in Linux. A lot of people cant use i tunes(loose money))), and a lot of linux users dont prefer use IOS and idevices(loose money))), because they cant install itunes on Linux.
Apple don't test iTunes for compatibility with Linux or Wine so if it is going to work then it is up to the Wine team to resolve any problems.
See http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1347
According to the above iTunes 11.1.3.8 managed to get a 'gold' score but other versions general got a 'bronze' score. It also looks like the chances of getting the 32-bit (Windows) version of iTunes working are higher than for the 64-bit version - this in turn might imply using 32-bit Linux.
The only people who should be using Linux on the desktop are code-monkeys who are willing and able to get their hands dirty and fixing these issues themselves.
