Q: I need to stop Icloud sending old "unread" emails, currently total 1373, I delete a number then Icloud keep sending them back to us

Icloud keep sending unread messages to us, currently total 1300 odd, I delete the messages and then Icloud keep sending then back to us. Obviously need to change something the way Icloud is working with our Ipad.
