Can I add daily weather forecasts to Ical?

Hi,

Wunderground give a calendar you can subscribe to: (http://www.wunderground.com)

They don't make it particularly easy to find though. Get your local forcast from there and click the down arrow between the RSS feed icon and the 'facebook like link'. Copy the 'Download iCal' link by Ctrl-Clicking and selecting 'Copy Link'.

Open Calendar and from the File menu select "New Calendar Subscription..." and paste the URL you copied. Set the refresh rate to be at least daily.

Not sure where did you see that?

Do you have WU app installed? Maybe that did add the calendar there.

My guess is that in the almost year and a half since this thread was active, WU has discontinued support for iCal (and RSS, it seem).

The latest iCal has Weather underground as part of it automatically. But, I can't get rid of it.

It still works, for most cities in N.A. I tried Europe but it doesn't work anymore. You need to go through Waybackmachine to obtain the link from WU. Go back to May 12, 2012.

I found this link and it works perfectly.

http://ical.wunderground.com/auto/ical/STATE/YOURCITY.ics

State is two letter code and city should be the nearest major city
