After update my iphone aske me my id and password i put it but i can't actevait

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required

If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

i have exactly the same problem with my iphone5.

my apple id i used to activate the phone from new will now NOT let me activate my own phone after iOS 7.1 update.

i wish apple could recognise this is a serious problem for us iPhone 5 owners.

Did you change your Apple ID's primary email address at any time? If so, did you sign out of all Apple services first before changing the primary email address?

tbh i can't remember.ive only changed an email address once in 2 years.

the email adresss I'm using now is the same as the one used to set up the phone,same one used to set up iCloud and find my iPhone.

they're all linked to my iTunes account on my macbook pro.the same apple id is also used on my daughters iPhone 4s with no problems.

thats the frustrating bit.
