After update my iphone aske me my id and password i put it but i can't actevait

Now after the update it asked me about my apple ID and password to activate the phone.

it says

Activate iPhone

this iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID

r.......@hotmail.com sign in with the apple id that was used to set up this iphone

i already have known my email and password but everytime i enter it , it shows that it is an incorrect Apple ID, "@hotmail.com " cannot be used to unlock this iphone........

but the apple ID works both to view my apple ID and icloud.com

could someone help me please to fix this process

My iphone is 5 16g iOS 7.0.4

Hello i have updated my iphone 5 from 7.0.3 to 7.0.4 when the phone turns on it requires the activation code which is the Id and the password to be activated through Icloud when i entered the Id and the password to my phone it showed me that they are wrong.

How can i deal with this process and i am sure that the Id and the password that i have entered are correct.

Could you find me please an alternative solution?

tbh i can't remember.ive only changed an email address once in 2 years.

the email adresss I'm using now is the same as the one used to set up the phone,same one used to set up iCloud and find my iPhone.


they're all linked to my iTunes account on my macbook pro.the same apple id is also used on my daughters iPhone 4s with no problems.


thats the frustrating bit.
