Basically I know it's a bit of a weird question, but I was just wondering if I leave my iPad on a stand on my bed side table right in front of a fan all night will that damage it in any way? I don't think it goes outside the safe operating temperatures it's just so cold when I wake up I was wondering if anybody has experience with this or knows if it's ok to leave it cold all night.

How cold? As per the operating temp. specs, it is okay if 0C or more operating or -20C in storage.
We'll I don't think it's any colder them 0 but the thing is freezing to the touch by the morning
That's Zero CENTIGRADE (32F), mind you. Many locations have gone way below that this winter.
Let it come back to warmer temps in a dry environment before using it. The "warmer", to avoid any of the malfunctionings listed in the link. The "dry" to prevent condensation inside and future problems due to corrosion.
